To ensure safety for everyone involved, candidates must:
Be between 21 and 42
Have one or more previous healthy pregnancies
Maintain a BMI within 20–32
Be mentally and emotionally prepared for the journey
Have no drug use or criminal history
Live in VA, MD, DC or a surrogacy-friendly nearby state
Be willing to take medications including injections
Have a stable and supportive home environment
